Lately I’ve been reflecting on the importance of community in my life. The special times that stand out involve the relationships I’ve forged in these spaces. Here I’ve connected with like-minded souls, found my soul mate and husband and felt fully embraced for who I am. In these sacred soul circles, true inspiration blossoms.
The spiritual / meditation school I joined in 1995, had its origins in the international ‘Fourth Way’ movement that emerged out of the 1970s. Fourth Way refers to a blending of three spiritual teachings – creating a whole new teaching.
What is The Fourth Way?
Gurdjieff (the founder of The Fourth Way) taught that paths to spiritual enlightenment traditionally followed one of three ways:
- 1) The way of the Yogi: mastery of the mind
- 2) The way of the Monk: mastery of emotions
- 3) The way of the Fakir: mastery of our physical nature
Gurdjieff said that his Fourth Way was a quicker means to spiritual growth than the first three ways because it simultaneously combined work on all three rather than focusing on one of the above ways.

At the esoteric school that I’m a part of, I’ve dedicated myself to meditation, sacred dance and spiritual work. Since the day I joined I’ve been practising daily meditation, using the method given by my teacher. This breath-based approach opens up a world of stillness. I take this energy of calm into my day-to-day life (as best I can). Being a sensitive empathic type, it’s been a game-changer for me.
Insights gained in this community continue to unfold and I blend this understanding into my work with yoga and mudras.

A few other tidbits about me: for more than 20 years I’ve worked in a variety of corporate jobs and industries, mostly in graphic design, marketing and communications. Finally, that little voice inside became too loud to ignore! This led me to complete my Yoga Teacher Training in 2016.
I’ve also had a few health issues to deal with over a number of decades. You can read more about this HERE.
At present, I’m a graphic designer and intuitive digital artist with a passion for photography. I’ve taught yoga, meditation and sacred dance. While I have many interests including astrology (being a Gemini Sun and Rising), my passion now lies in nurturing and growing the Love Breath Space community and sharing simple ancient wisdom that might help others on their own journey of transformation.
Love and mudras,
