Yoga Mudras for Immunity

In these fast-paced times, it feels like we need all the help we can get. Why not try mudras? Build the fire of resilience within, with Prana and Linga mudra. Both these mudras build pranic energy and boost immunity!

Two powerful and easy-to-use yoga mudras to help build immunity!

Prana mudra: increases prana (energy) in the body and builds immunity:

  • Bring together the thumb, ring and pinky finger
  • Extend the other fingers
  • Practice using both hands

Linga mudra: this mudra awakens a fire of resilience within and helps burn away illness and toxins. It also aids the body with circulation:

  • Interlock all fingers together
  • Join the thumb and index finger together encircling the thumb – which is poking out

How do mudras work?

Mudras – also known as “seals” or “gestures“, activate specific pathways of energy (prana) in the body.

In these fast-paced times, it feels like we need all the help we can get. Why not try mudras? Personally I like to use them during my meditation practice and simply hold them for as long as is comfortable.
